As the PLEA Board of Directors we try to meet on a regulary basis. Most of the meeting are online but we try to meet in person between the conferences once, whenever the overseas directors are in Europe.
This year we have a whole PLEA Day full of activities in London at the Architectural Association. It starts on Thursday 26th of June with an open lecture of our director Susel Biondi.
On Friday 27th of June we have invited the past directors and associates of PLEA to meet in person or online to discuss past, present and future values of PLEA as well as aims and practices of the PLEA network. Furthermore we will have a whole session with students of the AA School of Architecture. And the Board of Directors will reflect on work for the further development of PLEA.
The core of the this years PLEA Day is a meeting with the founder and Honorary Secretary of PLEA – Simos Yannas – who is also the founding director of the AA graduate Programme MSc & March Sustainable Environmental Design. It is always an honor to meeting him in person and we are looking forwart to his founders perspective on the past and the future of PLEA.
